Ron Prince led the Wildcats to a 7-6 record and a bowl game in 2006, his first year as a head coach at any level. Prince was the University of Virginia offensive coordinator (2003-2005) and line coach (2001-2005) prior to being introduced as the Wildcat head coach on December 5, 2005. During his five-year tenure in Charlottesville he helped produce 18 All-ACC honorees, including six NFL draft picks.
Ron was born in 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska but was raised by parents Ernest and Georgeanne Prince in Junction City, Kansas. He is married to the former Zoé Ahern of Valhalla, N.Y. and they have three sons, Deuce (6), James (4), and John (1), and a daughter, Grace (3). Contact email: rprince@k-state.edu
