The team's fourth-leading receiver who hauled in 30 passes for 316 yards, with a long of 29-yards, in 12 games; maybe in 2008 he will get into the end zone with one. Caught two balls in 2007 spring game to finalize a 15-practice session that demonstrated his continuing growth at the position.

2006

Honors

Solid year for a true freshman. Played in 12 games and started eight. Caught 17 passes on the season for 235 yards with a long of 66 (opening play in Kansas game). Had his career-high in both receptions and yards against KU (5-103). Lots of potential.

High School

A versatile athlete who played quarterback, tight end and defensive end at different stages of his career ... Third-team all-state defensive end by the Portland Oregonian his senior year ... First-team All-Portland Metro League honors as a defensive end and second team all-league as a tight end ... Completed 49-of-82 attempts for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns during senior season as a part-time quarterback ... Quarterbacked the Skyhawks to a 6-3 record as a junior.
